Kime Builders completed a comprehensive 3,811-square-foot veterinary hospital tenant improvement for Curo Pet Care at 6200 Variel Avenue in Woodland Hills. The project transformed an existing ground-floor commercial shell into a purpose-built animal hospital through the installation of new non-load-bearing partitions, building systems, specialty equipment, ceilings, lighting, millwork, and veterinary-grade finishes. The facility includes seven exam rooms, two DVM offices, a large treatment area, surgery and dental rooms, X-ray and ultrasound areas, laboratory/pharmacy, isolation room, canine and feline wards, storage and laundry, staff break area, reception and waiting spaces, administrative areas, and accessible restrooms. The highly technical buildout required extensive coordination between architectural, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, medical gas/scavenging, data, and specialty veterinary systems, creating a durable and efficient clinical environment capable of supporting a broad range of veterinary procedures and day-to-day patient care.
