The Plaza, El Segundo, CA

Kime Builders completed an approximately 6,000-square-foot office tenant improvement for Cushman & Wakefield at The Plaza, 2101 Rosecrans Avenue in El Segundo. The project included new interior partitions, power and data infrastructure, lighting, finish upgrades, and a new two-hour fire-rated stairwell vestibule extension, while carefully integrating the new work into the existing occupied office building. The redesigned workplace features a reception area, open work area, numerous private offices, focus and huddle rooms, a wellness room, lounge and break areas, beverage station, copy area, server and storage rooms, and an existing large conference room incorporated into the new layout. The buildout also included upgraded architectural lighting, custom millwork and casework, selective ceiling modifications, and coordinated mechanical and fire/life-safety improvements. The finished space provides Cushman & Wakefield with a polished, flexible workplace that balances private offices with collaborative spaces and employee amenities.
